Jayne and Julia I am Doris Brown a Fairfield High School classmate of your dear mother and and Iowa State Classmate AND a relative of the Oldfields. Jo and I often talked about how that relationship was but it was through my Grandfather Miksch and one of your grandparents. They all grew up in Washington County Iowa somewhere. You girls may not remember coming to visit us in Paw Paw, Illinois when we lived there years ago. We now live in Ames and last saw Jo at out ISU class of 1954 -50th class reunion. I am so shorted and sorrowed at hearing of your mother's death. I may call and hopefully can talk to one of you. Lowell Funk just wrote the e-mail to us today. Our sympathy dear ladies. She loved you so much and proud of you both. I agree she was a most caring and loyal person. She had a great sense of humor and a kind laugh. We visited Jo in Milwaukee about 10 years ago probably and hoped to get back someday. Our somedays are getting too few. Take care of yourselves and Love to you both and to your families.
